Don Allan Mitchell is an Associate Professor of English and the Chair of the Department of Languages & Literature at Delta State University. At Delta State, he has taught courses including Modern American Drama, Expository Writing History and Literature of the Blues. His research interests include blues literature and Mississippi literature. Mitchell received an M.F.A. from the University of Mississippi.
